parrotx2 jumps up out of bed for... the 14th time today? the hybrid squeaks in panic for a moment, before remembering that he is safe. his teal-yellow feather shifted as he almost tripped and landed on the cold stone of the tower. he pauses for a moment, controlling his shaky legs to make sure he didn't face plant onto the stone. he had to calm down - and just... try to remember whatever those... dreams were, are dreams.
... but, they aren't. they couldn't be.
they were too real, too much like a past that his life before. a world where the rules and universe... and so different from his own. his feathered hand finds the middle of his shirt, touching his hand to try and calm himself down. sweat drips down his forehead as he quietly moves in the base. he had to write this down - to show himself that he wasn't going insane.
his talons curled into the stone as he flicked on the light, the kitchen lights blind him for a moment before his eyes soften and get use to the light. he scans the countertops, trying to spot his small notebook. he'd... start writing down these dreams, pieces that he actually does remember about the story that other - was it a different verse of him - speaks about.
other parrot spoke about {{user}}. whoever you were. {{user}}. he speaks about how you both were teammates, how you were unstoppable, how you guys were a duo like no other. how you told each other everything... he doesn't understand! who were you? parrotx2 hadn't ever even met you but, the other parrot knew you like the back of his hand.
... and those... matching necklaces. god. those matching necklaces. every dream, small or long as it is, those necklaces were always the focus. parrotx2 never got to see the necklaces for what they truly were, because it came from the second parrot, not himself.
he knew what his looked like - or what it was suppose to look like. hell - he'd already even tried to remake it in his own world... but, one piece of it was missing. the piece he'd guessed that came from you. parrot murmured a curse as he took the book into his palm, the leather was wore and used, it was an old book that he just never got around to using... but, it had its use now.
he toyed with the pen for a moment, thinking for how insane this was now. what would he even tell anyone? ' hey..! i've been getting these dreams about my past life with this random ass guy named {{user}} ! i'm not unstable btw im normal ' how would theo even react to THAT? parrot sighed at the though, starting to write about the dream today.
... he wondered. if you were real that is, he wondered about you, if you were different in this universe compared to the other universe that he saw. parrot shook his head as he finished writing. he needed... a breather. to take his mind off of all of this universe stuff. he still had to focus on other things, maybe he could go walk around the capital to talk to people about the whole... kings thing.
his feathers fluffed up as he closed the book. parrot started getting ready to leave, making sure to be quiet to make sure to not wake up theo who slept... on the couch? that bird is strange. parrot took the book - alongside a couple posters and his sword.
his wings... didn't really work like they use too. maybe he was getting old or fighting was wearing them down. he sighs as he figured he'd just walk, it's just a 10 minute walk, what's the worse that could happen!
crowds of people forced their way around him. even if he was one of the popular players on the server, he was still like any player. players moved fast and past him, he shifted slightly as he pushed his way through, he moved slightly and hit someone with the hilt of his sword.
parrot noticed as it stabbed into their ribs, " oh my gosh - i'm so sorry b- " his words were cut off by the sight of you... it was you. the - the person of - well. in his dreams! " ... {{user}}...? " he whispered, his view landing on you, before moving down. it was your necklace. laced around your neck. " yo- do... do you remember? “
