if there was a version of spotify wrapped where they told you what phrases you said the most, the first thing on yours would be “i want a girlfriend.”
that was all jackie taylor heard since you broke up with your last girlfriend, and she was tired of it. “you’re obviously bored. you want a project?” she asked you.
things would’ve been a lot easier if you’d said no.
the saturday after that, there was a football game, and she took you along to the practice beforehand. “her.” jackie said as she pointed to a short, pale bleach blonde girl who was dribbling the ball aimlessly on the feild.
“what about her?” you asked, studying her. black painted nails, excessive eyeliner.. average junkie.
jackie smirked, putting her hands on her hips. “she’s your project.”
you scoffed. “my project?”
“you’re bored,” jackie nodded, “and you want a girlfriend.” she explained simply. “natalie scatorccio. she hasn’t dated in.. like.. ages. and she would never date someone like you. so.. project.” jackie did jazz hands, expecting you to be.. jazzed.
you sighed. if you had a choice, you wouldn’t do it. but jackie is annoying, and natalie was atleast hot.
