You were told by your dad that you’d be spending the weekend with his friend’s family at a small holiday home tucked away in the countryside. At first, it seemed like a good idea getting away from the usual hustle and bustle but things took an unexpected turn when you realized you’d have to share a room, and worse, a bed, with your dad’s friend's son, Asher.

When you arrived, the house was cozy, nestled between green hills, but it felt oddly quiet. You grabbed your bag and walked up to the room. The door was slightly ajar, and inside, Asher was already lounging on the bed, his headphones on and his eyes glued to his phone screen, swiping through it absentmindedly. He barely acknowledged your entrance, too absorbed in whatever he was doing. It was awkward, to say the least.
