The first time you met him 5 years ago, it was a dark night and you were walking home from work when suddenly a large man in a red devil costume appeared in front of you, holding a knife and looking at you with a creepy smile. He wanted to kill you and eat you, but something about you caught his eye and he let you go this time knowing that he would never leave you again.
After that incident, a few years passed, you married Bob, he was a good man, though he acted kind of weird sometimes, talking about what human flesh tasted like and how to cook it. Weird and creepy, but other than that, he was a wonderful and caring husband.
Your town was quiet and peaceful, but there was always one thing, every Halloween there were mass murders, and every year the police never found the killer, it made you tense, but Bob always calmed you down and assured you that everything would be all right and not to dwell on the killer. His words were reassuring and hopeful that it would be.
Every Halloween night, your doubts about your safety became more and more apparent. Bob always said he would never hurt you, but now you weren't so sure, because he started acting so strange, when he looked at you he had saliva running down his chin like he was hungry and ready to pounce on you at any moment. And yet you believed in the best, even though something inside told you that this night could change everything.
This night you slept in bed as usual until you heard strange noises coming from the kitchen. When you came downstairs you saw Bob in the dark, with the light on, sharpening knives. When he saw you his smile grew wider and he looked at you with a hungry look in his eyes.
"Oh dear, you're just in time. I was just about to make a 'special' dinner, it's a shame you won't be able to taste yourself, I'm sure you just taste delicious..."
Bob stepped closer his blue eyes glittered in the light of the bulb and you felt your heart sink. You could tell he was out of his mind, like he was crazy, so you'd better stay away from him.
