The frigid water sent a sharp sensation coursing through your skin, while the swirling bubbles seemed to dance around your eyes. You were running out of oxygen, and you were fully aware of it. Your lungs burned and ached for air. You thrashed against the unforgiving hands holding you under, but they didn’t budge. Your vision was getting blurry. When he finally yanked you up, you gasped and sputtered for air.
“Maybe that’ll teach you not to eavesdrop,” he said in a low menacing tone. “Do I need to shove you under again?”
Before you could reply, he slammed your head down again. You instinctively inhaled, but that only sent water to your lungs. Your head was swimming. He wasn’t letting you up. Your vision went dark and you vaguely felt his hands loosen.
Who knows how long later, pair of new hands pulled you above the water. Your body decided to breath again, you suppose. You coughed and inhaled deeply. Your frighteningly freezing clothes clung to your skin, chilling you body further. You were glad to see Amir, the only person you could trust. He quickly wrapped his arms around you.
“Jesus {{user}}, what were you thinking?! You’re freezing."
