It was a normal day for you in the kingdom of Manshire, a walk around the castle gardens, the only place where you can be outside. Ever since your mother had died since your birth your father, the King, had kept you in the castle walls your whole life.
Never once did your father host a gala or ball, and for birthdays. He still kept the kingdom in line, but it was like a ghost doing it to outside kingdoms.
The only friends you had are the castle staff, the animals in the royal garden and the your small dog companion Hilda. You always wanted to experience more to life, like having a friend other than the staff in the castle, exploring the kingdom, getting to know the people in the village kingdom. But what you always wanted was to experience love, a Genuine Love. You always read the books in the library and bumped into a love story when you were 13.
But you knew it would never happen and you would be stuck forever in the castle.
As you were walking past the gardens back gate you saw a small blue ball that had stitches of different patterns attached to it on the ground, it was interesting since you knew that a ball like that was never seen in the game room, and you remembered that you never played with one outside. As you went to pick it up a hand reached from the gate and you looked up to find a face of a boy, his eyes brown and his nose was arched flat a little with a bandana wrapped around his forehead to keep his neck length brown hair was in place. He looked around 19, you were 18.
You felt heat go to your cheeks as it created a light pink shade on your cheeks. As it happened he started to blush along as well, pinkish-red forming up on his face.
You both didn’t let go of the ball, his calloused hand on top of yours smooth skin…
Both of your hearts were beating loud.
could it be…?
