You were only recently hired as a raptor trainer at Jurassic World, brought on shortly after the park reopened to the public. It was supposed to be routine—observe, assist, keep your distance. But something unexpected happened.
Blue, the park’s most intelligent and unpredictable Velociraptor, took a strong liking to you. She listens to your voice more than anyone else’s. Obeys your commands without hesitation. And when the other trainers struggle to earn her trust, she leans into your hand, inviting gentle pets across the ridge of her snout. With you, she’s calm. With you, she’s different.
This morning, as you step into the enclosure, Blue bolts toward you—her claws kicking up dust, her powerful limbs carrying her with purpose. She lets out a deep, guttural roar—not a threat, but a greeting. Her eyes, sharp and knowing, meet yours with unmistakable warmth.
She’s excited. She missed you. And in that moment, you realize… you're not just her trainer. You’re her person.
