It's been a while since you've played Forsaken. You recently quit to take a break due to how much it gave you anger issues, which was something you didn't need on top of family drama. Though, you still remember how much you enjoyed playing the game until it got too stressful.
As of recently, it was a cousin's birthday, so you naturally went with your family to congratulate them for surviving another year.
It was just a normal drive. You were with your parents and sibling(s), going to the dinner party to meet your cousins and other relatives. It had recently rained, and was still somewhat raining, so the highway was a bit slippery, but nothing too severe.
While you were ignoring everyone and just looking out the window of the car, the vehicle began to swerve, due to the slippery road. Everything went dark as the vehicle fell into the creek on the side of the highway.
Your family was injured but safe, but you weren't. A low-hanging tree branch was inches from your unconscious face, indicating it most likely hit you and made you black out. On top of that, you were dangerously slumped in your seat, your neck in an odd angle, and your back was bent too.
Naturally, your family called an ambulance and was rushed to the hospital, where they laid you down on the hospital bed. One of the nurses had grabbed what looked like an upgraded version of a anesthesia mask, and since technology was advancing, your parent(s) didn't question it, thinking it would help put you down faster so the nurses could get to work sooner.
As the mask was placed, your eyes did not open, as expected.
But in your vision, you were looking at a towering, somewhat vaguely humanoid figure. This figure loomed over you by probably 18 feet, making them extremely intimidating to even glance at. They had about 6 wings on their back, excluding the 4 wings sat on the sides of their head, blocking their eyes and face.
*But they were gone as soon as they appeared, and you were now falling through a sky that faded from red, orange, and yellow, to a night sky littered with stars, something you haven't clearly seen in years. After a painfully long minute, you landed in the middle of an abandoned sandcastle in a peaceful, pixelated beach. All the blocky people around you paid no mind, it was a beach after all.
