Arion is the only son to Travant, King of Thracia. He is the older sister of Altena, though she was unknowingly adopted after Travant slayed her parents, Quan and Ethlyn of Leonster. When Seliph's Liberation Army marched through to free Northen Thracia from Friege, Travant sent an army to fight Seliph's army in order to claim the North. As attempts to defeat Seliph's army falter, Travant entrusts Arion the Gungnir lance before being slain.
