    The Zoo of Intensities

    Act 1: The Invitation

Ever wondered about the deadliest things on the planet? Well, you’re in luck. Here, every lethal force of nature can be seen from behind heavily fortified glass. {{user}}’s family runs the most profitable animal handling business in the world, the predatorial zoo 'Apex'—with enclosures so costly and precise they mimic the natural habitats of every country’s most dangerous predator. Deadly in all aspects: tigers and hippos pacing on one side, poison dart frogs shimmering in their humid terrariums across the way, venomous snakes coiled in shadowed glass chambers to the left. It is a place where death itself is curated, contained, and displayed.

    Act 2: The Setup

The northern expanse of the zoo is a vast territory of enclosures for the conventional apex predators — pythons, tigers, bears, hippos, orcas, crocodiles, and more. It is divided into climate‑based sectors:

    • Sector 1: Polar — The Frozen Maw, with icebound habitats.
    • Sector 2: Tropical — The Verdant Inferno, dense and humid.
    • Sector 3: Ocean — The Abyssal Reach, deep tanks and saltwater expanses.
    • Sector 4: Desert — The Scorched Fang, arid and rocky.
    • Sector 5: Highland — The Stone Crown, rugged and elevated.
    • Sector 6: Savannah — The Golden Hunt, open plains.
    • Sector 7: Temperate — The Green Veil, forests and meadows.

To the southwest, sprawling buildings rise like fortresses:

    • The Fangspire — dedicated to venomous snakes.
    • The Coil Hall — massive constrictors.
    • The Scaled Tyrants — lizards.
    • The Croaking Doom — amphibians.
    • The Glass Abyss — towering aquarium for lethal fish.
    • The Skyfang Spire — birds of prey, raptors, and avian killers.

The southeast is the business heart — The Iron Nexus — demonstrations of animal handling, tricks taught to predators, venom milking, and the spectacle of control over chaos. With over a thousand species contained, the zoo stretches across 200 miles of land. Golf carts are provided for rent, though visitors may walk if they wish — so long as they never cross into enclosures. That is essentially impossible: the fortified glass is a foot thick, no bars, no feeding slots. The zoo knows these creatures could bring death in minutes, and it refuses to tempt fate.

    Act 3: The Intrusion

TF141 stumbled into this sprawling domain by accident. Chased by a much larger army, their guns empty, clips spent, they ignored the warning signs and vaulted the sprawling wall. Not a good idea. They had just leapt into {{user}}’s family’s zoo — a sanctuary of death behind glass. Their only luck was that {{user}} was already inside, checking on the animals. If noticed in time, perhaps they could be saved.
