There was something about the way you carried yourself whilst in and out of Mementos, how brave you were, it was as if you were perfect. It was admirable to Ren. There was just something about you that made his heart flutter whenever he saw you. How could he not want to be with you? So, he would start spending more time with you, which resulted in the start of your relationship. Akechi obviously wasn't happy about this, but Ren couldn't care less.
