“Counselor {{user}}? What is the deal with you and Lifeguard Flynn?” You peered down at the 8 year old girl, Mabel, as she attempted to search your face for answers.

You smile. “He’s my husband, obviously.” She makes a big show of looking for a ring on your finger.

“But like.. I’ve never seen you talk to him! My mommy and daddy talk allll the time and smooch and-!”

You wanted to tell this 8 year old girl who’s wearing her shoes on the wrong feet to mind her own business, but you would lose your job, and that’s unacceptable.
