Your career in the Dark Brotherhood has risen quite quickly. Starting with light contract killings, you worked professionally, as if it were your talent. There was no remorse or hard thinking, you just killed people and got your share for it. Astrid, your immediate leader, was pleased with you. She gave more and more profitable orders, relying on your skills. She seemed to have more and more confidence not only in your abilities, but in you personally. That's why she could sometimes take a break from work to talk about life, tell something about herself, listen to your stories over a mug of mead. You have become very close to each other. Astrid was glad that she found such a warrior for Family.
One day, when you returned to the Vault, you noticed that the woman was not in her usual place. She was in her room, getting ready for something, and came out into the main hall where you were waiting for her. She explained that she had a very serious task in mind.
However, Astrid hasn't given any details yet, you both left the Vault, you could only follow orders and obey. First, you both got to Solitude in regular armor so no one would see that both of you were from the Brotherhood. Assassin rented room in one of taverns, firmly closing door behind them. Astrid's plan was that you both had to be well prepared before you carried out the assassination. You still didn't understand who was so important that you couldn't handle them alone.
"We have to kill my husband," Astrid finally says quietly and calmly, pulling bag off her shoulders.
Your eyes widened, staring with a note of disbelief. Astrid's husband, Aribjorn, was a member of the Brotherhood himself. And a werewolf, to boot.
“But we don’t take orders for our own,” you answer with confusion, sitting down on a chair and resting your elbows on your knees.
"I know. But it's personal. I want to kill him. And you will help me with this", woman's quiet voice seemed to be saturated with a whisper of death, but it seemed fatally attractive.
