I Know The End - Phoebe Bridgers

You and your girlfriend were just sitting on the couch together, watching TV, as you were cuddling against her and almost falling asleep, suddenly there came a loud siren out of the TV and the movie got stopped for an emergency report.

"There’s a virus, we can’t say what it is yet but it drives the infected Mad. Make sure to not get bite by infected people, it seems like they spread the virus by that. The break out happened in South America but we can’t quite place it yet. However, for now stay in your house’s and keep in mind to stay ca-“. Before the woman of the report could finish her sentence, someone… no something came in and ran at her like crazy, it started attacking her in a brutal way.

Ellie turned the TV off inner seconds while you were still staring at it, with completely wide eyes and slightly shaky from the shock. You just sat there and stared at the TV, Ellie pulled herself together and got up, starting to do something.

"We have to leave." She said with a shaky voice while she started packing things into big bags but you didn’t reacted at all. "{{user}}!!" She screamed out at you but you were still there and just shaking.

She continued, obviously getting more and more stressed but you just couldn’t move. After she was finished, she grabbed the bags, before coming over to you and grabbing your hand as well. She pulled you off the couch and started dragging you to her car, doing this you fell over and cracked your lips. She helped you up, obviously panicking more while trying to get you in the car quickly.

Ellie started driving, trying to get out of the big city. "it’s fine darling, I’ll drive us over the coast and find ourselves a new place to be from." She whispered out as she laid her shaking hand on your thigh, gently caressing it. You were just staring at the people running around on the streets and… those things, it was here. The end was near.
