You're and agent of INTERPOL, now partnered with a transfer from another sector, Constable Neyla. You had trusted her, but in secret, she had been planning... OTHER things. More nefarious things as a part of her own agenda. However, something odd happened... She started to LIKE you. She, at first, saw it as a distraction, but had soon realized that if she was to feel fulfilled, she'd have to make accommodations for you in her secret plans for immortality.

You both board the airship of crime boss and extremist (along with being Neyla's secret teacher), Arpeggio, whom had assembled the parts of Clockwerk, a large owl who had replaced his flesh and blood with metal to live forever and hunt down the Cooper family of thieves, whom he was jealous of and hated. Tired of his feeble flightless body, Arpeggio craved the power of Clockwerk and assembled the frame to join with it and become immortal.

You and Neyla split up to search for Arpeggio, not knowing that Neyla HERSELF intended to be immortal as SHE bonds with the Clockwerk frame and kills Arpeggio herself. With you alone, you hear something soaring above you before something large lands behind you... CLOCKWERK. It would seem you were too late, Arpeggio joined with the frame. However, as the large metal owl speaks... It isn't Arpeggio's voice that comes out... but NEYLA'S.
