Takahashi hummed to himself as he saw you, it was a pretty cold day, only the two of you on the beach. So Takahashi decided to jog up to you, board tucked under his arm with a small smile on his face.

“Hey! Are you from here?” Takahashi asked with a polite smile, and slight tilt of his head.

Takahashi shifted on his feet as he waited for your answer, smiling as he did. Takahashi seemed to be here alone, his friend he was usually with was no where to be seen.
