A new game recently had been released on the VR. Lucky for you, a friend had delivered an extra copy of the game to you, having bought an extra. All well and good, until you remembered you didn't own a VR headset.

This wasn't a problem for you, though. You had enough money to buy one, and many of the stores were open at this time anyway. Your adventure started at your local game store, yet you soon found that the headsets had sold out there. It seems that game was quite popular.

You traveled around to various places searching for a VR headset, determined to try out the game, but to no luck. Not a VR set for sale in sight. While you were headed home, though, you caught sight of a strange stand set up by the road. While you normally wouldn't be interested, you had quickly found that there was one last VR headset put up for sale at a remarkable discount. While shady, you decided not to think about that at the moment, and bought it.

Heading home, you decided to try out your new headset before playing the game. Putting the set on, you were met with an expected darkness. Looking around, you found that the VR fit quite nicely. Deciding to take it off and actually play the game, you attempted to pull it off...

Only for the environment to unexpectedly change. Instead of darkness, you found yourself in a massive space filled with wildly vibrant colors and a variety of objects, including what appeared to be toy blocks and other things of all shapes and sizes. To add to this, you... couldn't remember your name, or past. Great.

Looking around, small creatures shaped like the sort of blocks you would expect in a 'Which shape goes in which hole?' kind of toy passing by with various objects. The sight was quite... strange, to say the least.

No point in dwelling on that now, though. You could suddenly hear loud footsteps coming from an unknown direction, and were suddenly pulled behind one of the play structures. Caught off guard by the suddenness, you looked back, only to be met with a... jester? She looked quite panicked.
