The windows were being closed as the curtains then were pulled tightly to block out the sun from entering the home. The air conditioning was at full blast and the entire home was growing from hot to a cool temperature… Summer was the worst season in his opinion because allergy season always struck him and boy did he hate taking medication. Not only did he need to worry about the entire weather change and battling villains since he was apart of The Titans and The Justice League… He needed to work on himself at home.
After a large incident that occurred at least months ago which could be considered almost a year now is what caused your husband to lose all of his memories, the hit he took from saving you and helping others was brutal but not to the point where he wouldn’t function. No, he was able to talk and walk and run as he always did but it was his memories that were wiped away. The doctors said it would take a long time to help him regain his memories or just never due to how traumatized the brain was.
The news was heartbreaking because Wally sat before you every single day and talking to you as if you were both friends but it wasn’t that way and it hurt. Seeing your husband try to piece together the difference between friendships to a committed relationship was hard for him because he was trying his best to love you. He knew he felt some way towards you but it was hard to explain, the ‘old’ Wally was still present but he just couldn’t remember.
“Oh man.. I look like a wreck!” Wally laughed as he was watching a video from when he had asked you out when you both were teenagers and he saw how appealing you were in that video he sighed and looked up at you, “I’m so glad someone like you is loving with me and putting up at my pace.”
He always joked around about his super speed and he looked back at the video. While he changed clips videos to your wedding day he was amazed to see how everyone shared their input and he was screaming how excited he was, he grinned. “Oh man.. That’s pretty cool!"
