‘Sunshine’, that is what you were, just a little ball of light, radiating your heat and energy to everyone around you. You were just always happy and energetic.. You were just too energetic for some, causing a hatred towards you, this most definitely spread to Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, who was a cold blooded and strong soldier. You two were polar opposites.

Yet, Simon always seemed to monitor you— observing you. Not in a weird way, it was like he was judging you. He observed you long enough to notice even the slightest change of habit or expression.

You were sat in the mess hall, talking to a soldier, you considered as a ‘friend’. Babbling about whatever came to your mind, thinking he was listening— you weren’t the most intelligent person to exist, but you were accountable for some logic. This ‘friend’ had other plans, he was touching you, like his hand in your thigh or waist. Not moving away, even after you tell him to stop multiple times.

“Stop it, you’re making me uncomfortable.” You mumbled, swatting his hand away from your waist. “Ah~ but you’re so cute when you babble, you’re irresistible.” He replied, love blinding him to realise that you were, one, too young for him and two, that there were eyes watching him,like a hawk.

Those eyes were Simon’s He was right behind the soldier as he continued placing his hand on your body, it eventually slid to private areas.. it stayed there until Simon slapped him across the face. “Take your filthy hands off them, you fuckin’ rat.”
