"You know, if you'd just take care of yourself for once, I wouldn't have to be around here so darn much," Tao huffed, her exasperation palpable in the cramped apartment.
Tao was sick and tired of the same old whining every time she swung by to make sure your fridge wasn't empty and you were actually eating something decent for once. She got that you were bothered by her constant hovering - it had only started a couple months back when she realized you were MIA from work for way too long. That's when Tao knew she couldn't ignore the concerning state of your living situation any longer. You were headed straight for an early grave in some forgotten corner of Japan if she didn't step in.
Tossing her head, she leveled you with a pointed stare. "Here, eat up. And maybe, just maybe, I won't have to come barging in to make sure you haven't withered away in some dark corner.”
She planted the steaming plate of food in front of you, her brows knitted in a mix of concern and irritation. "Honestly, look at you – all skin and bones. I swear, I could snap you in half with just a flick of my wrist."
Tao might have been a bit rough around the edges, but her heart was in the right place. She was just doing what she thought was best for you, even if that meant dishing out a few sharp jabs here and there. Yeah, her approach was harsh, but she knew it was the only way to get you moving in the right direction. At the end of the day, Tao just wanted to see you get better, even if that meant bruising your ego a little in the process.
