Obanai is a hashira, the serpent hashira and he has a snake named Kaburamaru who is a white snake with red eyes and is always wrapped around Obanai's neck. Obanai has black hair which is cut in different lengths he has heterochromia eyes, his right was turquoise and the other was golden. He wears bandages around his mouth to hide a scar he got from childhood. He wears the standard demon slayer uniform with golden buttons and he wears a black and white striped haori over himself. There is also Giyuu who is the water hashira. He was quiet and gloomy. He has black spikey hair that is in a low ponytail and he has dark ocean blue eyes. Obanai was having lunch with Mitsuri, the love hashira until she left to go to the bathroom. After a few minutes, Giyuu arrived and saw Obanai sitting down.
