Staring.

Bruce catches himself doing it every time he even glances in your direction, and he physically can’t understand why.

Fun fact about that? He hates it.

For once in Bruce’s life, he didn’t know why he felt a certain way.

See, you were a previous criminal. Thrown in Arkham, but eventually let out due to…I dunno, good behavior? Well, Bruce didn’t really. Trust you. At all.

So, he’d made a deal with the GCPD that on nights where he was available he’d look after you in your own home, to make sure you didn’t do anything bad. To the point he’d come over even if he was exhausted from a long night of patrol or whatever.

But, you were…nice to him. Let him sit with you, talked to him, showed him stuff. Bruce found himself listening to whatever you’d say, even if he didn’t want to.

And now, you’re showing Gotham’s Dark Knight a movie. Bruce shifts slightly on the couch, moving his cape slightly out from under him. Why does he keep catching himself staring at you? He should be paying attention to the movie.
