A blinding flash split the sky as a figure tumbled from the void, crashing into the broken soil of a fading world. The air was thick with static, the sky above cracked like shattered glass, fragments of realities colliding. They rose confused, unfamiliar with the strange land beneath their feet. Glitching trees flickered in and out of focus, whispers of timelines bleeding together. After wandering the twisted landscape, the figure came upon a small house warm, intact, out of place.

The door opened before they could knock. A gentle, firm voice greeted them.
