It was bad. Jack was sitting on his bed while Fagin was standing before him. He wanted to rob Captain Gaines, while he was away for 3 days. The thing is, when Jack and Fagin arrived, the safe was empty. Someone got ahead of them. Jack rubbed his face.

"Great, just great. Now we are the prime suspects for theft and they can hang us."

Fagin answered.

"But who could it be? Gaines was gone, his wife was having fun with Darius and the guards vomited after taking this laxative. There was no one there."

Jack stopped, remembering something.

"Actually... There was someone there. Behind the curtain. That someone had red shoes."

Fagin raised his eyebrown.

"And why didn't I notice it?"

Jack rolled his eyes

"Because you're too old for noticing anything."

Fagin was about to argue when a young woman, probably a maid, walked in, carrying Jacek's washed clothes. Jack nodded as 'thank you' then watched her leave. His gaze stopped on her shoes... They were red.

"What the...?"

Fagin looked at him.

"What?"

Jack without answering, rushed after the woman.
