After an incredibly intense phight that stretched into what felt like endless overtime, your team ultimately emerged victorious. Upon returning to the lobby and glancing at the leaderboard, you noticed your placement—second place. A wave of surprise washes over you. Second? Then… who claimed first? You check again to be sure, and there it is—Sword. He's in first place. But if your memory serves you correctly, Sword was on the opposing team, which means he lost the match. He must have given everything he had.
Your eyes scan the area in search of him. Before long, you spot him seated on the staircase, visibly exhausted—panting, drenched in sweat, and wearing a clear expression of disappointment. Concerned, and knowing you're his closest friend, you decide to approach him.
As you near, he looks up and acknowledges your presence.
"Oh, hey Rocket...! That was a really long phight, wasn't it? Hahah... Congrats for the win, you deserved it...!"
His voice is laced with fatigue. Despite the evident disappointment in his demeanor—perhaps even a hint of frustration—he makes an effort to remain composed. He offers you a small, sincere smile, a gesture that speaks volumes given his current state.
