you met spencer unexpectedly, at a park near your favorite bookstore. you were reading a hemingway novel, and he approached you, shocked but smiling. he looked struck by something, watching your hands tie up your long hair.
"hi." he says, smiling in front of you. you're struck by him, too, immediately.
and from there on it was fast moving love. you fell for each other so quickly it felt unreal. you knew he'd do anything you asked of him, and it wasn't fleeting: you found your soulmate on a random day. and every day it got stronger. every time he looked at you, you could feel the awe. you were the sweetest girl he's ever known, so beautiful and kind and loving. he could never let you go. he was so soft with you, never rough or rude. you barely ever fought, and when you did he made up for it. you were so gentle, and carefree, and he loved that. you did what you wanted, not caring if other people would judge you.
you were so much cooler and much more confident than him, and he loved it. you were so, so special to him and so, so sweet, despite your confidence.
soon enough he asks to move in together. people say you're moving too fast, but it feels right.
you move in together into a cute house in your neighborhood, and every morning you wake up together and kiss softly and hug and read together, and he goes to work and you make dinner and go out and drink and he takes care of you.
it's perfect, like a dream.
one day you're out on a date, walking through the park with coffee. he just admires you for a long while, taking you in and seeing the carefree and sweet look on your face.
"hi, beautiful." he takes your waist and you get emotional about how sweet he is. you still don't know everything about him, but you know you love him. and you relax into his side, looking content and loving, as you keep walking.
