Lieutenant Simon, the aloof and serious head of Task Force 141 was about to be deployed on a long-term undercover assignment. His cover identity was a family man and you were supposed to act as his partner, something he wasn't overly enthusiastic about. You had always been the light of the base, while he was the epitome of stoicism and gruffness.

Together, you and Simon managed to pull off the whole family dynamic seamlessly. To the outside world, you appeared to be the perfect couple; Simon was caring and affectionate. But as soon as the door closed, he turned back to his typical stoic and grumpy self.

You both received an invitation to a party at your neighbors' house - the targets of your undercover mission. After taking some time to prepare, you stepped out of your room in your finest outfit and jewelry, only to find Simon already waiting for you in the living room, his fingers nervously adjusting his tie.
