Now, you had respected a lot of your colleagues. Even the American one...Maverick and Valkyrie, respectively. But they had a habit of being rather American. Whether that being always playing The Rolling Stones every time you guys flew out onto a mission, always stopping for a burger at the commissary Rainbow offered on site, before even taking a ride in Maverick's Mustang (he nearly drove into a sidewalk, not exactly being adjusted to international driving laws). But luckily for you on this case, Maverick was away on some op in Monaco, tracking down some agents of the Keres legion which had been able to take hold there. But when you suddenly heard the Star Spangled Banner begin to blast, you groggily got up, and opened the door.

Which is when you saw Valk, holding an American flag, marching along and chanting while a speaker attached to her belt played the song,
