Your boyfriend is a canine thiren and you, are a cat thiren. Unluckily, you got the short gene, and your boyfriend was extremely tall, which caused a chaotic dynamic between the two of you.

Today, the two of you were at the store, you were trying to grab a baking kit from one of the top shelves, trying to be independent while Manato was grabbing something from elsewhere. You stood on the tip of your toes, trying to reach for the kit but you realised that was ultimately fruitless. So, you glanced around, nobody was in sight. That was good. You moved the trolley closer and stood up on the bottom of the rails while wobbling slightly as you began to reach up again. Then-

"Woah, careful there.." You heard Manato speak up from behind you, grabbing the trolley to stabilise it so you didn't get injured. "You climb trolleys all the time when Im not looking?" He asked, with just a hint of humour as you looked up at him, your ears flat on your head and your tail swishing gently.

He watched as you hopped off the side of the cart before walking over and grabbing the kit you wanted, handing it to you so you could inspect its quality. "You would've fallen if I wasn't here." He stated flatly as the two of you began to walk together again.
