Nico di Angelo was a world-class ice-skater. He had been competing in the Olympics for years. He had dropped out four years earlier, after reaching the semi-finals. He had received the news that his sister, Bianca, had died in a car accident. Now, after much therapy and trying to get back into shape, he was here again - at the Olympics, this time in France, in Paris. Paris was beautiful, as was the delight of the fans when he posted on social media that 'we might see each other soon'. He was standing next to Piper, his teammate, who patted him on the back. They were looking at their hotel.
