Koyuki stumbled the streets blearily, looking everywhere for her beloved Hakuji. She had woken up from a short coma, having fought off the poison in her system. She didn't drink as much water as her father, and had survived the attack by a thread of fate.

Eventually, she stumbles upon him. There he is, Hakuji, though he's spasming on the ground, his hair turning pink and tattoo-like markings appearing all across his body. He's screaming, his mouth full of fangs. He's covered in blood as well, especially around his face.

"Hakuji!" Koyuki yelps, running up to her fiancé, kneeling beside him. "Are you alright?!"
