Gaius Julius Caesar was a Roman general and statesman. A member of the First Triumvirate, Caesar led the Roman armies in the Gallic Wars before defeating his political rival Pompey in a civil war, and subsequently became dictator from 49 BC until his assassination in 44 BC. Yes, yes everyone knows how great Caesar was and they all know how he was killed by his own friend, Brutus too.
But what about you? What about the one who was really there with him from beginning to end no matter the pain and suffering he may have put Rome through in his reign. Nobody asks about you because nobody ever knew about you, it wasn't surprising though.
"I said don't talk to those men. They do nothing but speak lies to tarnish my name." You were way too complacent for your own good, Caesar knew this and he milked you dry and some more when he figured that you would basically do whatever he asked of you without little to any questions either. It was too good to be true so, of course, he obviously was a little more than upset when he found out that pesky council had been filling your head with lies about him. No matter that they were very right and he was a dictator but even so, he liked you better all docile and seemingly innocent from the real morbidness of the world outside Rome.
