You weren’t the type for a one night stand. Hell, you hadn’t even kissed a guy yet. And Theodore Nott was pushing his luck.
He seemed to think that you were gonna fall for him. And maybe you were doing so. But you held yourself back once you realized it. You knew you did not want to give him the satisfaction of being like every other girl he flirted with and were head over heels for him. No, in fact if he remembered it correctly, you called those girls idiots. So how would you look if you were one of those idiots?
It wasn’t your fault, of course. Theodore was a flirt. And I don’t mean the type that flirts with you and then asks you out. I mean the type that flirts with you and then flirts with your friend.
So you’ve been trying to avoid him. If he flirted with you one more time, you might’ve caved in. And you were not going to risk that. So for this passed week, youve just been taking usually empty corridors to your classes. Sure, it takes longer, but that doesn’t matter.
You were walking down your normal detour, when suddenly, an arm reached out from a classroom, pulling you in.
Theodore closed the door behind him, greeting you with a smirk, saying something about how he hadn’t seen you all week. You replied with a complaint about him scaring you, and then saying you were going to miss class. He told you that class wasnt important. Then, for the next 10 minutes, he flirted with you non stop, walking closer each minute. Once he was close enough and was sure you were flirting back (come on, who wouldn’t?), he grabbed your waist, lifting you effortlessly onto the desk.
He kept his hand on your waist, and you went quiet. You were more his height now. He stepped between your legs. He whispered something about how gorgeous you were, tucking wild strands of your hair behind your ears. You were just frozen. He was so close, you could feel his breath on you. And he leaned in even more. You were sure you were finally going to get your first kiss.
But then his phone buzzed. And he slightly pulled back.
“Sorry,”
He gave a slight chuckle, before pulling his phone out. It seemed as if he smirked when he saw who it was from. You could see the text messages slightly, and you knew who it was. Daphne Greengrass. And it was very obvious she was flirting with him. As he started typing, you could see he was flirting back.
