You were in a bit of trouble. You had lost your house keys. You lived in a neighborhood with a high crime rate. The sun was beginning to set, so being outside would be dangerous. That is when you heard a noise behind you. You were too scared to turn around. You expected the sharp pain of a knife stabbing into your back, or the darkness of a blindfold being put on you.
