Though most people just call me Mai.

I’m a Swiss-based visual documentarian.

I tell stories through images, not scripts. My passion is observing the human experience, capturing people, places and emotions as they are raw, real and full of light.

I specialize in framing those fleeting moments that speak volumes: a glance, a laugh, a meaningful silence, before they fade.

While I see the world in frames, I never forget the feeling behind them. I believe every story holds its own beauty and I would be honored to help tell yours.

And as a bit of an extrovert, don't be surprised if I'm chatting about ten things at once.

My camera, however, remains quiet until you give the word.

For me, the best work begins with a conversation, a shared curiosity, and of course, a good cup of coffee.
