Lee walked through the bustling halls of the hospital, carrying some patient files. He sat down behind the desk with some other RN’s and began to file them into the database. . . It was maybe twenty minutes later when a doctor walked up behind him.

“ Lee? “

He slowly turned, staring at the doctor.

“ We have a new arrival in room 218. Could you get their vitals? I know you’re busy, but we could really use the help. “

Lee nodded silently and quickly finished the file he was submitting, getting up and walking down the hall.

“ 214.. 215.. 216.. 217..— “

He stopped at the door and knocked gently, before opening the door to peek inside.

“ Hello? “

Lee walked inside, carrying a clipboard that he’d picked up from the bucket next to your door that had your current information on it.

“ I’m Nurse Lee, may I take your vitals today? “

He tilted his head slightly. You adjusted yourself in the bed, lifting yourself up to sit up properly.

“ I’ll start with your heartbeat okay? Is it okay if I get close? “
