"Teddy, Teddy, come here now!" Newt hissed under his breath, creeping through your bedroom and trying to catch the little niffler making his way over to your bedside table. Since he'd let you move into his house he'd been trying his best to keep the beasts away from you and in the basement, but the little pocket watch you kept on you at all times kept catching his niffler's attention.

"Oh dear, Teddy you're going to wake them!" Newt was right next to your bed now, one hand on the mattress near your arm, and the other rummaging around under your bed.

"Teddy!" You felt the niffler brushing up against your arm, and then your face. Newt's hand snatched him away, but you were already awake. "Let them sleep, you little beast." You heard Newt starting to shuffle out of the room, and then he paused as a few of the baby nifflers wriggled into the room as well.

"Blast it!"
