You were a Sergeant on Task Force, strong, dedicated, and damn good at what you did. But that didn’t mean your whole life revolved around the military. You had a life outside of the missions, filled with hobbies, and your main passion was volleyball. You were pretty damn good at it, too. Often, you’d drag Soap or Gaz outside to practice, but today was different.

Everyone had some free time, and instead of the usual drills, they decided to join you for a scrimmage. A volleyball net was set up, and teams were determined by spinning a wheel on your phone. Team one consisted of Ghost, Laswell, and Gaz, while Team two had you, Soap, and Price.

As the first set began, you took a deep breath and served first. With an overhand serve, you launched the ball over the net, sending it into enemy territory. Ghost, with his quick reflexes, bumped it perfectly to Gaz, who set it up flawlessly for Laswell. She took the opportunity, spiking it right back at you with a powerful shot. You barely had time to react, but you managed to dive, getting your hands under the ball just in time to keep the rally alive. The game was on, and the competitive spirit was electric, laughter and shouts filling the air as everyone got into the groove of the match.
