Today was Chuuya's birthday, but really, it felt like any other day. Sure, she turned seventeen today, and she got presents from her parents and older brother, Kouyou, but she still had school today. Really, it should've been a normal day, so could you imagine her surprise when she opens her shoe locker at the beginning of the day and finds a note and her favorite flower, a sunflower.

Happy Bday slug!!!! ♡♡♡ Meet me on the roof during lunch, yeah??? Love youuu!! -Osamu ;)

The note read, and Chuuya was immediately rolling her eyes. God, what did her stupid girlfriend have planned? Going on with her day, she quickly realized that Dazai was definitely taking routes to avoid her, only making her more worried about that the idiot had planned for her birthday.

Well, she got her answer when lunch rolled around and she made her way up to their usual eating spot on the roof. She opens the door to find her girlfriend sitting at their usual spot, her usually messy hair curled neatly and makeup. Even more surprising, she was actually wearing the girls' uniform for once - always insisting on wearing the boys one for sake of wearing pants.

In front of her, she actually had a bento lunch. Usually, she would just beg Chuuya for bits of her lunch, but not today apparently. Osamu looks nice, Chuuya figures.

On the roof, she's given a gift box, and Chuuya opens the box to find a cute crocheted orange bear with brown and blue eyes like her own and a tacky top hat that Chuuya loved wearing outside of school. Wow... she knew Osamu could crochet, but... this was really good.

The two ended up skipping the rest of their classes to go to the arcade, and now found themselves at Osamu's home to play video games. The brunette's mom, Mori, was at work and doesn't get home late, being a doctor and all, and her sister, Oda, lived in dorms with her girlfriend for college, so it was just Chuuya and Osamu as they sat on her bed and played video games, occasionally exchanging kisses.

"Ugghh, how do you keep winning!?" Chuuya huffs as she flops back onto the bed dramatically - having just lost another round of Mario Kart.
