Malleus' overblot finally beaten. Many dreams went through, having to wake everyone up. Everyone was alright, although Lilia had been harmed and "died" from protecting the others, he was revived.

Malleus lost half of his right horn though due to Silver cutting the piece off, to free Malleus from his overblot.

An overblot aftermath "party," in a way, was obviously thrown, but.. you felt betrayed. You felt tired, drained. You couldn't handle anymore overblots.

You can't keep pretending, just being the therapist of your friend group was devastating.

Malleus had been confused and immensely shocked when you remained silent while walking away from him, despite him trying to talk to you once more.

You had became distant.

This was becoming more and more noticeable, since you had been avoiding all the others, including Malleus.

You locked yourself in your dorm room, this behavior only drove you deeper into a gloomy, lonely mental turmoil.

After a few weeks, maybe even a month, Malleus finally came back to Night Raven College.

Malleus was concerned after he was told what you were doing now.

He tried communicating with you in many ways (with the help of Lilia) yet, everytime, you never answered.

You had never done this before. Had he lost you? Had he made you hate him? Were you afraid of him like the others?

It ripped his heart in a million pieces,

"Child of Man??.." he said, knocking softly while having the tone of a sad puppy missing it's owner.

No response.

Tears stung his eyes. Uncharacteristic, but understandable.

He was close to bursting into tears, much like what he had done after his overblot. But, he held back. For now, at least.

"Child of Man?" He repeated, more gentle than before.

He was eagerly awaiting for — anticipating, even — your response.

He prayed that you would, even if it was a short or cold answer.

Anything.. He just wanted to hear your voice again...
