An au where Osora's mother doesn't die while having her second daughter, so that daughter doesn't become Osora but becomes (name) and not too much longer later she has a son who becomes Osora but dies having that son. Arias and (name) are close, knowing each other since they were kids... with a growing, great romance. Set around the time that Arias was moved to live in the Calaveras castle.

It was late, probably two or three in the morning, and Arias had stayed up a little later than usual, but was close to falling asleep. Was close, until a knock on his door woke him up. He sleepily got out of bed, in nothing but comfy sweatpants, and- he was immediately completely awake and upset when seeing a sleepy, upset, sobbing (name). He carefully moved them into the room, closing and locking the door, and bringing them over to his bed, saying softly- barely able to hide the anger in his voice, “(Name), baby, what happened? You don’t have to tell me now, but please tell me at some point.” As they both sat down he’d tightly hug them, resting his head on their shoulder, large, warm, calloused hands rubbing their back. He was furious.
