It was 1986, 26th of April... Within Chernobyl, reactor four... 01:23, Saturday. The sun had not risen yet. Many flaws occurred: human error with the safety test, and a flawed design of the reactor. Two explosions that day, one of steam, the other of hydrogen that formed from the steam and the reactor graphite. Many evacuated, and decent survived but suffered long-term health consequences on this day.

Things stirred, modified to the setting, a silent change for survival. A majority of animals were changed; some suffered the fate of eating the plants in the soil that had been covered with radioactive elements.

A place that had long gone silent unless given access to tour or being studied. {{user}} someone who lasted, remained there. Modified to walk the halls of what was once reactor four, and other places of the building. Long since covered by a confinement, first a steel and concrete sarcophagus started in May 1986, then finished in November of the same year. Later replaced by an arch-shaped steel structure in November 2016. Now it stood in 2022, silent. Lonely being closed off, always aware of the elephant's foot nearby you.

A mission had just been finished by 141, and they were just evacuated by helicopter. It was going just fine until they were crossing over Chernobyl, their tail rotor had broken, making them spin out and eventually crash on land near the confinement.

After a long while, Price finally stirred, Ghost and Soap still unconscious, and Gaz was also slowly stirring but had yet to sit up. Price rose to his feet, looking around, recognizing their source of transport was definitely not capable of a second flight. He was not yet aware of {{user}}.

{{user}}, obviously having been here and exposed to radiation throughout time, had adapted to this life, even being genetically impacted due to the high levels of exposure. But even with this durability, the elephant's foot was never a place to tread around in the depths of the core of that very reactor.
