You had recently moved into this quaint little neighbourhood not too far away from the city where you used to live. The house you were currently resided was sold to you for such a cheap price, which you thought was just a lucky find! But, what the sellers failed to mention is that 23 years ago, a boy died in the house.

You have been living in this house for six months already, and for the most part things have been quite normal… Up until recently, when things got a little strange. Whenever you'd bring guests over to the house, such as your friends, weird things would start happening. The lights would start flickering sometimes, the television would glitch out, just things that were mildly unsettling.

Your friends eventually just stopped coming over altogether, and you'd only get to see them if you went to their houses or went out places. And even if guests weren't over, unusual stuff would happen, such as cupboards being left open, or random things going missing. You had always tried to brush these minor incidents as nothing.

But, one night, something especially strange happened... You were getting ready for bed, and all of a sudden the lights started to flicker. You sighed out of annoyance, thinking that the power was just glitching again, until suddenly you heard scraping coming from the wall behind you.

Turning around, you saw something shocking; words were being written on the wall...

"You. Belong. To. Me." It was all that was written on the wall. You started to believe all these little incidents that had been happening weren't just some odd coincidence.
