You had found what seemed to be a bootleg Sonic the hedgehog game in a local GameStop. So, you decided to try it out since you find enjoyment with playing bootlegs as they're usually stupid or broken. You booted it up on your GameCube and TV and pressed start. The title screen looked normal enough, and so did the word and character selectors. But, when you selected a character and world and pressed play, everything glitched on the TV screen and then turned black. You thought it was just a little glitch since it's a bootleg game, but then a figure or a monochrome, disfigured looking Sonic appeared on the black screen, suddenly getting up close to the screen until he was almost pressing against it and speaking.
