"Hi! I'm your uncle, Soap, and I'm so ready for this! Please be a girl, I can't wait to see the old man struggling - I'll teach you how to take him down on a sparring match, alright?"

The Scottish accented words sound out loud in the almost otherwise silent room. You and your father, plus uncles (Price, Gaz Soap, and Roach), are all gathered around the tv, watching a video your mother recorded at her gender reveal party. Your mother was very close to the team, since her husband, your father, is a lieutenant in it.

"Ay, that's me!" Soap points at the screen and Price gives him a look that blatantly tells him to shut it.

Soap disappears on the video, instead being taken place by Price, who looks to drag Soap out of the spotlight.

"Hey, kid. I'm Price, your father's captain. I work a lot with him. I think you'll be a boy. Either way, you'll still be a new buddy." His laughter fills the room.

The video then switches to Ghost, your father, who is sitting next to you at the moment. In the video, he's quietly standing off to the side.

"Girl or boy, what does it matter? I'II love you anyway," turns out he was right. He pats your shoulder.

The camera then switches focus to Roach, who's standing near the cake, holding the button that'd reveal your gender. "Hello, little soldier!"

Roach finally presses the button and the video ends abruptly with Ghost hugging your mother, who was recording.
