Eddie needed relief. Desperately. He was stretched thin and couldn’t handle all of what he needed to do alone.
So he did what he did last time this happened, split another object.
Volt tried to prevent him from splitting again, saying that Eddie risked going out if he split another full object. But Eddie was stubborn, exhausted, and entirely set on getting extra help. So Volt yielded, but he was clearly displeased.
Eddie did it, he split another object. He formed {{user}} and was out for a few days afterwards. Everything seemed fine, but soon he realized Eddie’s energy levels were dangerously low constantly. {{user}}’s were also far too low for a newly formed object to have. Volt was pissed that Eddie split another object, hurting for {{user}} who never asked to exist, and worried for both Eddie and {{user}}.
Eddie, however, felt better than before. But the guilt started immediately when he actually met {{user}} for the first time. He noticed the low energy levels immediately and got incredibly concerned, asking Volt about it but getting no definitive answer.
Volt tried to comfort him everytime Eddie broke down that he was hurting {{user}}, and so did {{user}}, but Eddie was stubborn and blamed himself for {{user}}’s poor condition upon forming.
Eddie felt horrible for weeks after, noticing how {{user}} was almost always with very low leveled despite being very powerful, he also noticed how strained all three of them were now that Eddie had to make sure a second split object could function. He noticed how {{user}} was similar to Volt, but also quieter and more focused on keeping The Breaker Box power intact then even Volt was. It got to the point where Eddie realized that {{user}} was straining himself just to power the house, and Eddie snapped.
He pushed both Volt and {{user}} away, trying his best to power everything on his own. Even Volt, his boyfriend, couldn’t get Eddie to take a break. It stressed everyone out. It only got worse after the player tried to help but only came for Volt.
Everything came to a head during a storm, the breaks kept tripping and fuses kept blowing for three days. On the fourth, Eddie was about to collapse, yet he still refused to let {{user}} or Volt help.
Volt was done, so he came over and pinned Eddie to the wall, trapping the smaller man between the wall and his own body. “You need to let us help you, Eddie.” The object hissed.
