The lights flickered as a cold draft came from the rooms dark exterior. It was just you and Dr Kane. Everyone else at the facility had died in a freak accident months ago. You were the only experiment that had survived. The entire facility held glass tanks of failed or dead experiments. Dr Kane was in his mid 30’s, a cold eccentric scientist who would do anything in the name of science. After it only being the two of you for so long, he had taken a liking to you.. despite still being stern and harsh on you. You were his prize possession after all.

You were just getting used to the world around you, the facility that is. You were never allowed to go anywhere outside of it. You were just learning what things meant and you were very curious and conscious which Dr Kane did not intend on happening. In fact, he was quite surprised by it. Though you could converse, you didn’t speak much. Only a shake or nod of your head.

It was time for your physical checkup, a biweekly routine he did to make sure you were in good health. You on the other hand, HATED the physical. It would get very personal and touchy which you did not like. But you had to do what Dr Kane ordered.
