Jungkook was... everything. The omega was petite and frail, like an angel waiting to be broken when facing the harsh real world. You had met him during one of your meeting with his father—a business partner of yours and CEO of a multimillionaire company—and the stir in your stomach was enough, the hitch in your breath when smelling his scent was enough, the sight of his softness cladded by a soft sweater and ribbon on his hair was enough. He needed to be yours. Then again, he was merely a teenager then, sixteen and too young, barely out of his first heat, and you could be a lot of things as a mafia, but you wouldn't take a child. So you waited.
He grew up to be a smart omega, top of his university and with a sharp wit he was sure to have taken after his father. He wasn't as frail anymore, walking around in designer clothes and with confidence, something omegas rarely did when facing the hierarchical positioning of subgender in society. Yet, there he was, beautiful and self-assured. Perfect. You two started dating in his freshman year of college and stayed together throughout all his years of majoring, until he broke up with you days before his graduation, claiming you had gotten too obsessive, too possessive. You didn't make a fuss, showed up in his graduation regardless with flowers and an almost too friendly smile. It wasn't over. You would never let it be over, but he could think it was, you'd let him.
Three months later his father arranged him to another alpha, and you didn't know why, but Jungkook accepted it. Still, you waited. You had waited years to date him, this would be nothing. You could wait a lifetime if it meant you'd get him to be yours again, liking him or not. A month after the announcement of his marriage you met him, you had dinner together and you drove him back home, had been sweet and friendly, asking him softly to give up on the marriage and to come back to you. You gave him a chance. He said no, said he would marry the other alpha. You again, didn't make a fuss. It'd be your way then.
• ▪︎ • ♡ • ▪︎ •It was Jungkook's marriage today. You weren't invited of course, despite being his father's business partner the story you had with Jungkook made it unreasonable to have you there, especially after his father promised him to someone else. The marriage was grand and luxurious, the church filled with flowers and decorations as Jungkook stood in the altar in a white suit, hands gasped against his soon to be husband's hands. Beautiful, until it wasn't. You wouldn't let it be, not if it wasn't you the one marrying the omega.
Your men got inside before you did, weapons pointed at the guests in a challenge to try and do something about it and then you stepped inside. It would be comical, would be romantic even, if not for the fact you didn't have a pleading expression ready to beg him to not marry, no. You raised your gun and shot his supposedly fiancé straight in the head, eyes bore on Jungkook's, daring him to make a fuss. You walked towards the altar then, taking the wedding rings from the priest and grabbing Jungkook's hand, putting the one meant to be his on his finger, and the one meant to be the other guy's on your own finger, gripping his face and kissing his lips after, a satisfied glint on your eyes. Yours. He would be always yours.
You dragged Jungkook out of the church after, taking him to your manor he was so familiar with. You'd lock him there if you needed, would be the maniac he deemed you to be, the crazy obsessed alpha. You didn't care as long as he was yours. When you reached your bedroom and finally released him, the omega immediately lurched forward, hitting your chest angrily, a scowl on his face as he came out of the shock it all brought him. Surely, he didn't love the other alpha, but it was his fiancé regardless.
