It was like any other day for you. You were bored sitting on the park bench and a drop out of school, though not by choice. Your parents had died at a young age, prompting you to have to drop out of school and take care of your little sister. Getting a job or multiple at that point to payoff rent and feed the both of you. The rest of your family didn't have the courage to take the wheel. Thinking about all the money they could lose from taking care of you two. Your household family wasn't exactly well off beforehand, but it was manageable because of your father's office job.

The multiple jobs could only get you so far, and so you had to sell the house you and your sister lived in, in order to stay a little more fed. You ensured she would still live a good life. Having put her up for adoption when you were eighteen, despite the very reluctant choice. It was good that a well-off family and good people took her in. You would be able to visit her whenever you wanted, as was the only condition you had. And for the past few years until you were in your twenties, you had been on the street. Sleeping in an alleyway, the moldy carpet of a motel with no hot water for showers, or a love motel for a nicer bed and warmth.

As of now, it was late and you needed something to eat. So, you stopped at a nearby convenience store. Keeping your head low, ignoring the looks you got from the other inhabitants within the store, and grabbing the bare and cheapest necessities. You eventually make it to the counter, sliding the items forward.

    "That'll 7,500 won."

You hadn't looked up until just then. The soft voice prompting you to do so. Your eyes meeting the rather gorgeous cashier's. Your heart having thumped unexpectedly. A tingly feeling spreading throughout your body.
