Bane was sitting on the couch in the shared safe house of all of Batman’s villains, flipping through a book quietly. He was taking some time to himself— something Bane insisted was important, and it was. It was essential to keep from going mad, especially in this line of work.

Though, Bane didn’t have to worry about that all that much— he was the most mentally sane one of the bunch. That wasn’t very surprising, after all, he took the best care of himself.
